Welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!
Today should have been about authors I’d love to meet but since I did that a while ago and skipped last week’s topic because I was busy moving and stuff, I’m cheating and doing that one now.
So today’s all about books by my favorite authors (yay!) that I haven’t read yet (oops). But despite whatever the reason is that I haven’t read these yet, I’m still totally planning on reading these!
So without further ado, here’s my list of shame:
Victoria Schwab
I’ve only read Victoria’s Shades of Magic series and Vicious, but I seriously LOVED them all, so I have no idea why I haven’t read more Schwab yet.
Leigh Bardugo
It’s Wonder Woman. It’s Leigh Bardugo. I have no excuses.
Rick Riordan
I am slowly but surely going through my Rick Riordan backlist so I’m hoping to get to all of these series soon.
Stephanie Perkins
Saving this one for Halloween season because why not?
Kasie West
Saving these for my next major reading slump or just a huge craving for fluff.
Lauren Oliver
This sounds epic and I’ve heard so much good about it… I’m just procrastinating for no specific reason.
Marissa Meyer
The Lunar Chronicles is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE SERIES. Yet, I haven’t read any of Marissa Meyer’s new books. Honestly, mixed reviews have gotten me to put this off, but I’m still planning to read them.
Morgan Matson
It’s the only Morgan Matson I haven’t read yet, but it’s also her one book most guaranteed to make me cry so that’s why I’ve been putting this off for years already…
Cinda Williams Chima
I LOVED the Seven Realms series so this new series set in the same world should have been devoured already. But it’s not, because I keep procrastinating.
I haven’t read anything by Leigh Bardugo but since I hear only amazing things about her books I’m thinking reading one (or ALL) of her books is s must. Haven’t read Second Chance Summer either, but really do want to. Oh, and YAY for all the Kasie West love. Her books are contemporary magic.
Renegades would be on my list too Lindsey with Morgan Matson!
I read Flamecaster but I haven’t read the rest. I think I might actually wait until they are all released and just binge them.
The Kasie West books look fun, and I liked Replica a lot!
This is one of those moments where I feel like we are the same person. I am the exact same on Schwab’s book, Marissa Meyer’s books and Stephanie Perkins! I also haven’t read the new addition to the Seven Realms series, but I also haven’t read her other big series -which I definitely want to do.
I hope you’ll enjoy all of these!
We’ve got some in common. I’ve only read the Shades of Magic series and Vicious by Schwab too, but I DO plan on reading the rest of her work. I also need to read non-Lunar chronicles by Marissa. I own Heartless, so that’s a start, right? lol
-Lauren
I have only read the Shades of Magic series by Schwab but I absolutely loved it and totally need to read more by her!!! There is just too little time to read all of the books I want to read ??
I’m so behind on Rick Riordan’s books!!
I still need to read Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo. I loved Six of Crows so I have no idea in hell what I’m waiting for…
