Stranger Things 3 Book Tag {Tag Thursday}

Hi everybody, and welcome to a new Tag Thursday! It’s been a while since I did a book tag, but when I saw that Flavia The Bibliophile created a Stranger Things 3 Book Tag, I just could not resist. I adore Stranger Things, and in just 3 seasons it’s quickly become one of my all-time favorite shows. I was honestly really worried about season 3, because I feared that it wouldn’t live up to the amazing first two seasons, but honestly, I should not have worried one bit, because IT WAS SOOO GOOD. Also, I love Steve. And Robin. And Dustin. So if you haven’t watched it yet, I highly recommend it. And without further ado, let’s just dive into the book tag!

This tag was created by Flavia @ Flavia The Bibliophile

Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson

Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson

I obviously don’t read a lot of books with missing persons since this was by far the most difficult question for me. But a quick Goodreads search and what do you know? In Since You’ve Been Gone, Emily’s best friend Sloane disappears one day.

Mr. Kindly from Nevernight by Jay Kristoff

Nevernight by Jay Kristoff

He may not be a real cat, but he looks like one and is hella snarky, so I choose Mr. Kindly.

To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo

To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo

The only mermaid/pirate book I read and adored. But really, who can say no to To Kill A Kingdom‘s killer siren/pirate prince romance?

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

I wouldn’t necessarily say I’d only read The Unhoneymooners in summer, but it does have a very summery vibe with its Hawai setting and I do tend to gravitate more towards romance contemporaries in summer so here we go 🙂

Red Winter by Annette Marie

red-winter-by-annette-marie

No spoilers, but the villain in Annette Marie’s Red Winter trilogy did surprise me.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Will there ever be a group of (anti-)heroes I love more than the Dregs in Six of Crows? Unlikely.

Enclave by Ann Aguire

Enclave by Ann Aguirre

I don’t read a lot of apocalyptical books, but I did enjoy the Razorland series by Ann Aguire, starting with Enclave, which featured a lot of creepy zombie-like creatures.

Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas

Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas

Honestly, I love pretty much every battle/showdown in the entire Throne of Glass series, but that ending had me hooked for sure *still crying*.

–BONUS ROUND–

City of Beasts by Isabel Allende

City of the Beasts by Isabel Allende

Uhh technically English is not my native language, so any English book I read is in another language right? But to make it more fun, I chose a different language I don’t speak and City of the Beasts by Isabel Allende is translated from Spanish so woop! I haven’t read it in about 18 years so I may need to work on reading more translated books.

Nikolai from Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo

Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo

Is this even still a surprise? I don’t think so. Nikolai Lantsov owns my heart <3
