“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, which encourages fellow bloggers to spotlight upcoming releases that we’re excited about. However, as Jill is no longer actively posting, from now on I’ll be linking to Can’t Wait Wednesday, hosted by Tressa at Wishful Endings, which is a spinoff of the original WoW meme.
Today’s selection and book I’m excitedly awaiting is:
One Last Stop

From the New York Times bestselling author of Red, White & Royal Blue comes a new romantic comedy that puts a queer spin on Kate & Leopold.
A 23-year-old realises her subway crush is displaced from 1970’s Brooklyn, and she must do everything in her power to help her – and try not to fall in love with the girl lost in time – before it’s too late . . .
Red White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston quickly became one of my all-time favorite books, so of course I have high hopes for One Last Stop. Add to that the fact that this is a time-travel rom-com with a focus on queer history, and I AM SOLD!
I will definitely read this book!
It sounds amazing for sure 🙂
I am in love with the Kate & Leopold story so I already know this one will be so much fun with the more modern, LGBTQIA+ incorporations! Great pick 🙂
Here’s my Can’t-Wait Wednesday if you’d like to give it a look!
Definitely, the Kate and Leopold spin drew me in too 🙂
I haven’t read Red White and Royal Blue but it’s on my to-buy list for sure and then this one sounds fab as well. A queer spin on Kate & Leopold… I love it already!
Ah hope you’ll enjoy Red White and Royal Blue when you get to it, Stephanie! And One Last Stop does indeed sound fab, I can’t wait 🙂
Time travel?? I’m in!
Haha yes, exactly 🙂
