I love this quote because it’s so true. In movies, Happily Ever After seem to be one moment, a fixed point in time that is a goal to reach for, when really, they are something that needs to be worked at constantly.

Yes, I agree with you – in books and movies, we usually just get to the point where everything is great, and then the story ends. You don’t see all the work that needs to go in, and continue to keep going in, after the HEA.
