Hi everybody, and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!
It’s almost Christmas (how fast did this year go?) and so today we are talking about the books we hope Santa will bring. So below are all the books I subtly hinted at (as in, they are on my actual wishlist that I sent to people. It’s helpful, not greedy, right?) and I’m hoping Santa will bring me this year.
I hope that, despite the weird circumstances this year, you’ll all have an amazing Christmas or other holiday with loved ones and possibly some books from your wishlist 😉
The Steel and Stone series by Annette Marie
Despite my love for this series, I don’t actually own any of the physical copies. Which I need to remedy, of course.
The Spell Weaver trilogy by Annette Marie
Another Annette Marie series I would really love a physical copy of for my shelves.
The Daevabad Trilogy by S.A. Chakraborty
I heard so many good things about this series and I have a feeling it’s one of those series I will love so much that I prefer a physical copy.
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by VE Schwab
I have yet to read this and it sounds so good!
A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik
Another 2020 release I haven’t read yet and would really love to.
The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon
I tried listening to this on audiobook and failed. But I think the physical copy, despite being a terrifying behemoth, might be a better way to devour this book.
Fence: Striking Distance by Sarah Rees Brennan
Despite my love for the series, I haven’t read this yet and would love a physical copy since I own physical copies of the comics.
I am hoping for mostly middle grade to be honest. Easier to read during lockdown with a 4yo around 😉
I hope you’ll be getting some physical copies of Annette Marie 😉
I can understand, hope you’ll get lots of middle grade books this year 😉
Great list! I love The Daevabad Trilogy and I’ve heard so many good things about Fence. Merry Christmas!
Glad to hear you love the Daevabad Trilogy! Hope you had a great Christmas!
Giving people a wishlist is totally practical! Hope you get all of these, Lindsey!
I totally agree 🙂 Thanks, Angela!
Chase the Dark sounds interesting.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
It is pretty great 🙂
I’ve heard so many good things about The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. Hope you like it, thanks for stopping by, and happy holidays!
Me too, I hope it’ll live up to the high expectations 🙂
I want to read Addie LaRue too. It’s near the top of my wishlist. I hope Santa brings all these!
Thanks, I hope Santa will bring yours too! 🙂
I loved, loved, loved the Daevabad trilogy. I hope you get to read them soon.
Thanks, glad to hear you loved it!
Hopefully Santa is fit enough to lift The Priory of the Orange Tree… that one’s a chunker! 🙂
Haha, I hope he’ll manage indeed 🙂
Annette Marie 😍

This sounds like a great list for Santa. I hope he comes through on some or all of them for you!
Thanks, hope you had a great Christmas!
I did. Thanks!
I always encourage my kids to make Christmas wishlists, but I never do it myself. Maybe I should – it’s totally helpful! I hope these all end up under your tree.
Happy TTT!

Wishlists are indeed super helpful 🙂 Thanks, hope you had a great Christmas!
I hope you get some of these! I love the look of Priory and also Marie’s series…
Thanks, they do look great. Hope you had a great Christmas!
I totally agree with you about wanting physical copies of the Daevabad Trilogy – I bought hard copies of the first and second book for that reason and didn’t regret it at all. I’m not sure if I would try listening to the Priory of the Orange Tree on a reread because it’s just a very chunky and complex book. I spent a month working my way through the hardback and thoroughly enjoyed it so I think it’s definitely more accessible as a book if you’re someone who better absorbs info in that format.
So glad to hear that you loved the Daevabad trilogy!
Yeah, Priory didn’t work for me on audiobook, I hope the physical copy will go better :à
I have read and loved the Steel and Stone Series, the daevabad series too and A Deadly Education! So I’d say: great choices 😉
Haha thanks, you too! 😉
What a great list of books! Here’s hoping Santa brings you all the great reads you want. I’ve tried to limit buying new books at the end of the year, but I’m about to break down and buy a copy of The Priory of the Orange Tree myself.
Oh, hope you’ll enjoy Priory!
I would love the Fence book. I love the comics. 🙂
I hope you get some of these!!!

I hope you found some of these under your tree! I haven’t read any of them, but several are on my tbr. <3
Thanks, hope you had a great Christmas!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that you got lots of these books under your tree. 🙂
Thanks, hope you had a great Christmas too! 🙂
