Hi everybody, and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!
Today we’re talking summer TBR’s (yay, summer) and as always, I tend to shift more towards romance reads in summertime. But, unlike always, I don’t want to focus solely on shiny new releases, but instead balance new releases with backlist reads and re-reads. So here we go!
The New Releases
XOXO by Axie Oh
release date: July 13th
A cellist and a k-pop member fall in love. A South Korean setting. I mean, yes, this sounds like my kdrama dreams made real.
Rogue Ghosts & Other Miscreants by Annette Marie & Rob Jacobsen
release date: August 6th
I love the world of the Guild Codex and I love Kit so of course I’m excited to read his adventures in his third book!
The Heart Principle by Helen Hoang
release date: August 17th
A new book from the author of The Kiss Quotient and The Bride Test, this third book features fan-favorite Quan with his very own romance!
The Charm Offensive by Alison Cochrun
release date: September 7th
That pretty cover, the comparison to Red White and Royal Blue, AND a reality dating show plot? YES PLEASE!

All Rhodes Lead Here by Mariana Zapata
After Dear Aaron and From Lukov With Love, I still want to read more by the slow-burn romance queen and her latest release just sounds so, so good!
Radiance by Grave Draven
I’ve gotten more and more into fantasy romance and everyone keeps recommending Grace Draven so it’s high time I give her books a try.
Neon Gods by Katee Robert
A dark romance Hades and Persephone retelling? I’ve been meaning to try dark romance for a while and I feel like this could be a perfect first try!
Heartstopper volume 4 by Alice Oseman
From dark romance to uber cute romance, I can never say no to this adorable graphic novel comic <3
The Re-Reads
The Steel and Stone series by Annette Marie
This series is the Annette Marie series I read the longest time ago without re-reading, so it’s time. Plus, I need to prepare for Blackfire!
The Kiss Quotient (and The Bride Test) by Helen Hoang
I want to re-read these beauties in time for The Heart Principle.
Bonds of Brass by Emily Skrutskie
This queer sci-fi space opera has a sequel coming out this fall as well, and I need to refresh my mind before that.

I love your mix of books! I haven’t reread a book yet this year, which is weird for me. I need to make time for it!
I re-read a few books in the beginning of the year, but now it’s been a few months, so I want to focus on that this summer as it always makes me feel happy to re-read old faves 🙂
I can’t wait to read The Heart Principle. It made my list, too. I loved All Rhodes Lead Here. I would reread that one. I hope you love all of these.

Neon Gods would be a perfect start in dark romance. It’s not too dark and gotta love Hades/Persephone retellings. It’s such a good one!

I’ve never heard of Rogue Ghosts & Other Miscreants, but I absolutely love that title! Bonds of Brass looks really good, too. Hope you enjoy these when you get to read them!
