Hi everybody, and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday! Today’s topic (courtesy of Susan @Β Blogginβ βbout Books) seemed easy at first, until I realised it was everything but easy… But fun though π
Here are my one-word reviews of the last ten books I read!
I still need to read HoSaB! Totally agree about Cerulean Sea! Great list!
My Top Ten!
Thanks! Hope you’ll enjoy HoSab!
Thank you!
Fun words. I thought this was a fun activity though I had a hard time limiting myself to just one word (and sort of failed at it a few times.) One Word Reviews
This was definitely a topic that was a LOT tougher than it looked at first!
“Kanthony” π Love it!
Also I love the way you formatted it, it looks like they could be the big bubbles that pop up in commercials for movies that tell you what all the big wigs think of the movie.
Thanks so much! Haha, it’s kind of fun to think of myself as the big wig in this scenario π
Ok, you’re the second person who has one-word reviewed Klune’s book with Packpackpack and I am curious! I feel like I need to bump these up the TBR π I also thought this one-word review challenge would be easy… It always sounds so easy π€£ Great one-word reviews!
Ah that’s amazing that there is someone else who used packpackpack! When you read the books it will make all the sense fairly quickly though π
Haha yeah, this sounded easy but it wasn’t really… but very fun to do anyway!
Hi Lindsey! Oh this is so cleverly done and I love Kanthony !! Ali Hazelwood does appear to be addictive yes, I need to get me some drugs.
Happy TTT!
Elza Reads
Thanks, Mareli! Kanthony definitely is the best! Haha, hope you’ll get your Ali Hazelwood-drugs soon π
Finally is such a great one-word review. π
My post: https://lydiaschoch.com/top-ten-tuesday-one-word-reviews-for-the-last-ten-books-i-read/
Thanks! I love how it’s a word that can apply to multiple feelings regarding the book without spoiling anything π
The Girl Who Fell Beneath The Sea can only be described as magical, I love that story so much and would love to see Studio Ghibli adapt it!
Yes, it should definitely be adapted, it would be perfect for it!
Great and beautiful one-word reviews. I read a few books on your list: the Bridgertons book #1 and #2 (I just finished Kanthony’s story), as well as HOSAB and TWOTQ….
Here is my TTT: https://herseriallife.com/one-word-reviews-last-ten-books-read/
Thanks and yay for Kanthony π
Haha, I love your word for The Viscount Who Loved Me – I have a copy of that I need to get to!
Oh, I hope you’ll enjoy The Viscount Who Loved Me!
I was loving all of these and then I got to the Kanthony <3 one and YES! I love that!
Haha I’m still feeling all the Kanthony feels, so it was the word from my heart π
I haven’t read any of these, but a few of them are on my TBR. This was a hard one for me, for some reason. One word reviews are hard.
Ash @ Essentially Ash
Yes, this was definitely a lot harder to do than I first thought!
Chaotic is definitely an intriguing choice for a one-word review! I’ve kind of gone of Sarah J Maas books recently as I was starting to find them all kind of samey, but that has me wondering if I should try the Crescent City books after all!
My TTT: https://jjbookblog.wordpress.com/2022/05/03/top-ten-tuesday-366/
I liked the second Crescent City book, but it was definitely super chaotic and that was a downside to me. I still gave it four stars though, but I did definitely like the first book more. I’d still recommend the series overall (so far), though I’m also not sure if you’d like them if you were starting to find them all a bit samey since it does have some similar elements as her other books – maybe you could try the first book and see what you think about it?
Maybe I will try it at some point. I’m not really in the mood for super dense fantasy at the moment though, so it will probably be a while.
Love these, Lindsey! I love that your one word review for the Armentrout book was “Finally!” π
Thanks, Tanya! Haha, I liked how Finally really summed up so many different feelings about the book π
I love your word choices and I love how you presented them in your post.
Thanks a lot!
I love how you did your reviews with adding stars as well. Great adjectives!
Thanks so much!
I see SO many people with Ali’s book on their various lists and I think I even saw one of her books at WalMart the other day. Gotta’ love a fun romance. Thanks a bunch for visiting Finding Wonderland, Lindsey – as always, I appreciate this!
That’s great that her books are getting a lot of attention – they definitely deserve it in my opinion π
That first one looks great! I still want to kind of try Sarah Maas too at some point…
I hope you’ll enjoy Sarah J. Maas if you decide to give her books a try.
I’ve not read any these, but your one word reviews make several seem intriguing! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
Thanks! Hope you’ll enjoy these reads if you decide to try any of them!
“Addictive” is one of my favorite adjectives to use in my reviews. I love books like this. It just makes me happy to get totally sucked into a story and not be able to put it down!
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

I completely agree, my favorite reads are always the addictive one too π
I completely agree with your word choice for Cerulean Sea and I’m excited that Hazelwood’s book is addictive. π
Thanks!
