Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl
Hi everybody and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday! In celebration of it being the 4th of July (Happy 4th of July to anyone living in the USA!), we are highlighting book covers in the colors of our country’s flag.
I’m from Belgium, so that means black, yellow and red.
I picked covers only from books that I have read and while it was relatively simple to find black and red covers, yellow was a bit more difficult. But I think I succeeded overall, even if my yellow is not always the same shade 😉
A short and sweet post, so let’s just dive right in!
Great job finding covers in your flag’s colors! I like that you row-ed them together in the colors too. And we share The Maid on our lists this week. 🙂
Thanks! 🙂
i like the way you made your books into the actual flag. Good choices, too.
Thanks!
A very pretty looking book flag. Yellow is a difficult color!
Thanks! Yellow is quite difficult indeed.
Your post is looking lovely and I love the books that you’ve chosen. I’ve read quite a few of them.
Yellow covers – We are all completely beside ourselves (I’ve used that), The girl with all the gifts, The girl who saved the King of Sweden.
Have a lovely Tuesday!

Thanks and thank you for the yellow cover recommendations!
I like the way you styled the post, lining up the covers to match the flag. And some great books in there too!
I only had two colors to work with for my post: red and white.
Thank you!
Love your selection and the way you arranged them – very striking!

I gave up on finding the rights shades. lol But your book flag looks great! I love seeing Wolfsong. 🙂
Haha the shades were a lost cause indeed 🙂 Thanks!
Okay the layout choice is adorable! Great List!
Thanks! 🙂
I love how you set up your choices to resemble the flag with the flag in the middle. Nice job!
Thank you! 🙂
I love how you have the book covers arranged. Beautiful
Thanks!
Wow, great job! I agree, yellow covers are hard to find.
Thanks! Yes, yellow is quite tricky 🙂
I Love how you also incorporated your flag!! For USA I am more drawn to the red covers, but I love the yellow covers too. I think I would pick yellow over red!
Thanks! Yellow covers are definitely more striking and I feel also a bit more rare.
Yay! 🖤💛❤️ Love the books you used, especially Ninth House!
Ninth House holds my heart forever and it fits the theme perfectly 😀
Oh what a fun way to arrange your post with each set of book covers corresponding with the colour of the flag, how cute! You picked some really lovely covers too (including one of my favourite books The Book Thief).
Thanks so much! The Book Thief is such a classic.
It is!
These colors (and covers) are so striking together. I love it. 😀
Thanks!
You and Stephanie are both overachiever making the flag every single time Lindsey! LOL
Haha so true though! 😀
Great choices for books for your flag! I’ve read a couple of them. My flags colors are red, white, and blue. Thank you for sharing!
