Hi everybody and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!
I’m going rogue today because I’ve been MIA for a bit due to a blog break and then some technical difficulties and I missed the ‘Fall 2023 TBR’ post. And those TBR posts are ones I ALWAYS do so it felt wrong to miss one and that’s why I’m doing it today instead.
So without further ado, here we go!
The Wake-Up Call by Beth OāLeary
Release date: September 26, 2023
Enemies to lovers by Beth OāLeary. Sign me up, please and thank you.
The Fragile Threads of Power by V.E. Schwab
Release date: September 26, 2023
I LOVED the Shades of Magic trilogy so I am beyond excited to return to this world.
The Chalice of the Gods (Percy Jackson and the Olympians #6) by Rick Riordan
Release date: September 26, 2023
More Percy Jackson and Annabeth and Grover? Umm, yes please!
The Hurricane Wars by Thea Guanzon
Release date: October 3, 2023
This debut just sounds like itāll be right up my alley: enemies-to-lovers, light versus dark magic, an exquisite fantasy world set in a Southeast-Asia-inspired world.
Throne of the Fallen by Kerri Maniscalco
Release date: October 3, 2023
Have I finished (or even started) the Kingdom of the Wicked trilogy? Umm, no. BUT Iām still super excited for this adult standalone novel set in this world. It sounds amazing in every way!
The Unmaking of June Farrow by Adrienne Young
Release date: October 17, 2023
This just sounds like such an atmospheric, romantic story and I feel like it’ll be the perfect fall read!
Iron Flame (The Empyrean #2) by Rebecca Yarros
Release date: November 7, 2023
Fourth Wing was one of my favorite reads of the year and I am so thrilled we’re already getting the sequel in November because that ending was brutal!
Do Your Worst by Rosie Danan
Release date: November 14, 2023
Iāve loved Rosie Dananās contemporary romance books, so Iām eager to see what sheāll do with this supernatural twist. Also, close proximity in a Scottish castle? Yes, please!
A Demon’s Guide to Wooing a Witch (Glimmer Falls #2) by Sarah Hawley
Release date: November 28, 2023
I loved the first book in this series and I have high hopes for this second witchy romance installment!
The Fake Mate by Lana Ferguson
Release date: December 5, 2023
I loved Lana Fergusonās debut, The Nanny, so Iām eager to see what sheāll do with this romance featuring wolf shifters who agree to be fake mates.
These are always favorites of mine too (the TBR lists). Also… I’m always curious about Beth’s books. They have fun titles and the colors on the cover are cool, too. Definitely an author I’m hoping to enjoy. š
I do hope you’ll love Beth O’Leary’s books when you give them a try!
I’ve recently bought A Witch’s Guide To Fake Dating A Demon and I’m really looking forward to it. I hope you enjoy the second one!
Thanks, I hope you’ll love A Witchās Guide To Fake Dating A Demon too!
You rebel, going rogue. š I’m also looking forward to Iron Flame and I preordered it at Standaard Boekhandel so it’s probably gonna take a looong while once it’s release date. I guess I’ll just be patient and try avoid spoilers.
Haha I’m such a rebel I know š
Oh, I hope you’ll get your copy before any spoilers can get to you! Maybe I should also stay away from social media for a bit until I finished it…
I keep forgetting that the Demon’s Guide is already coming out this year instead of next year.
I just got my copy of PJO and I’m really excited (but need to get through some arcs and all first) So might end up being december lol.
It does seem so quickly after the first one! But good for us š
December is still this year though! Maybe even still fall š
I hope you love all of these books. And welcome back! I was wondering where you were but didnāt want to be nosy. š
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
Thanks! I’m happy to be back š
I’m excited for Iron Flame as well! I already read Fake Mate. It was great, but steamy so be prepared for that.
Glad to hear you enjoyed Fake Mate! I’ll prepare myself for the steaminess, haha š
I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz for the new one by Adrienne Young. And I’m beyond excited for Iron Flame!
They both sound so good!
I’m really looking forward to A Demon’s Guide to Wooing a Witch too! And The Unmaing of June Farrow and The Wake-Up Call are both great. I hope you enjoy all of your fall reads!
So glad to hear you loved The Unmaking of June Farrow and The Wake-Up Call!
Welcome back to TTT! We’ve missed you š
I hope you enjoy all these new releases when you get to them. Hype finally convinced me to buy a couple of FOURTH WING, even though it’s not my genre. I’m so curious, though, to see what’s got everyone talking!
Happy TTT!

Thanks so much! Oh, I hope you’ll love Fourth Wing!
I hope to read the Beth O’Leary and Rick Riordan books before the year is over. Sadly, I doubt that will happen.

So many books, so little time indeed! Hope you’ll love them when you do get to them though!
The Hurricane War- what a beautiful cover.
It’s indeed such a gorgeous cover!
So excited for the new Percy Jackson book! I have loved that series.
Me too!
I’m looking forward to the latest one by Beth O’Leary too. Planning to read it in a couple of months though š.
Hope you’ll love it when you get to it!
