Hi everybody and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday! Today’s topic is ‘Books with Weather Events in the Title/on the Cover’ and I’m focusing on books that have the word Storm in the title. This is a short and sweet post, so let’s go:
Tell Me:
Any of these you read and recommend?
PS: I seem to be having some issues with my comments lately. Commenting does not work in the WordPress Reader but seems to be fine via the browser. I’m looking into the issue, so please be patient with me.
I never read Victoria’s books (though they always did sound interesting!) but her books seem like they’d be a great fit for this topic. Definitely lots of drama (and storminess) I’d imagine. 🙂
Haha so true, the books I read by her had lots of storminess 🙂
Well Istill have to write my post but I will also mention Storm Crow as I loved that book!
I haven’t read Storm Crow yet but I’m glad to hear you loved it!
I’ve heard good things about George R.R. Martin’s work!
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
Me too, though I haven’t read his books yet. I did love the TV show!
There is a lot of storms in book titles. I didn’t even focus on storms but still half of list was storm titles haha.
Storm does seem to be super popular for book titles!
I loved Siege and Storm, Empire of Storms and Unleash the Storm. I really wanna read Storm and Fury!
Three of my faves too! 🙂
I think the only one I’ve read is A Storm of Swords – fun take on the topic! Storm is definitely a popular title word.
Storm definitely seems to be a super popular word for book titles!
Storm is such a great word for a title. It can be used so many ways. I love the titles you chose. They make me envision so many things. Like with A Storm of Swords, I think of wind throwing swords around. lol
Haha that is so true about A Storm of Swords and now I’m picturing it too 😀
Great batch of books. I’ve read and enjoyed about half of them but still need to get to the rest of them.
Thanks!
This is such a fun topic. Even though I went rogue this week I kinda wished I hhad done it! Love the Morgan Rhodes covers!
I do love those Morgan Rhodes covers!
So many different kinds of storms! Love the cover of Unleash the Storm. Have a great week!
Thanks!
I haven’t read any of these, but I am interested in reading more of Leigh Bardugo’s work since I read the Six of Crows duology. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
I hope you’ll love Leigh Bardugo’s other books too! (Six of Crows is one of my favorites by her though!)
Who knew there were so many storm books? I have read A Storm of Swords! I liked that one.
Haha storm does seem to be a super popular book title.
I love how you focused on one weather word. Mine was all over the place.
Thanks!
