“WWW” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Taking On A World of Words.
Hi everybody, and welcome to a new WWW Wednesday! For this post, we’ll be answering three questions (the 3 Ws):
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
I recently finished reading Things We Left Behind by Lucy Score as audiobook.
I highly enjoyed this long-awaited installment in the Knockemout series as it was a blast to finally get Sloane and Lucian’s story. It was a great childhood friends to enemies to lovers story with lots of humor, emotions, steam and suspense.
It was bittersweet though, because as much as I enjoyed this book, I’m a little sad that I’ll never get to meet up with these characters again.
I recently finished reading Mile High by Liz Tomforde as ebook.
While I was a bit hesitant at first (I almost DNF’ed because the main male character came off as a real douchebag in the first 4-5 chapters. But luckily he quickly came around and I ended up loving him so much) I ended up really enjoying this one. So much so that I dove into book 2 immediately afterwards!
I am currently reading Foxglove (Belladonna #2) by Adalyn Grace as audiobook.
I fell head over heals in love with Belladonna earlier this year, a gothic YA romance mystery about a girl who can’t die and sees ghosts who gets tangled up in a murder mystery and ends up falling for Death himself in the process. Naturally, I couldn’t wait to pick up the sequel and so far this has been every bit as darkly atmospheric and wonderful as book one!
I am currently reading Mile High (Windy City #2) by Liz Tomforde as ebook.
Like I said, I really enjoyed Mile High so I couldn’t wait to dive into book 2 as soon as I could. I’m not super far yet, but so far I’m loving this one even more than Mile High. Ryan and Indy are such fun characters and I’m loving the opposites attract – forced proximity – fake dating aspect a lot!
As usual, I’m a huge mood reader so who knows what I’ll be reading next? Until the moment I pick up a book, not even me knows. But here are a few possibilities:
I hope you read The Long Game next because it has animals on the cover! 😀
I am indeed hoping to see lots of animals in the book! 😀
I love the variety of your next potential reads! Always good to keep our options open!
So true, never know what the mood will call for 🙂
The Right Move was even better that Mile High. I bet you’re going to want to read Caught Up when you’re done with it.
It really was, I loved it! And yes, I just started Caught Up, haha 🙂
YAY! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
I need to read the rest of Score’s series. I have the second book downloaded onto my kindle, but I haven’t gotten to it yet. I keep hearing great things about Tomforde’s series. I’m hoping to get to it at some point. Glad to hear sticking with it paid off! I am loving the Belladonna series.
I’m loving the Score and Tomforde series, as well as the Belladonna series, so much!
I have the Hurricane Wars to read too but no idea when I’ll get to do it!
Me too Sophie! I hope we’ll both get to it soon!
