Hi everybody and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday!
Today we’re talking about the ten most recent additions to our book shelves. I divided this into physical books, ebooks and audiobooks, as I’m often reading multiple formats. Let’s go!
Physical Books
The Hurricane Wars by Thea Guanzon – I’m currently reading this one!
I Want To Die But I Want To Eat Tteokbokki by Baek Sehee – I recently finished this one. It was a short and quotable non-fiction novella about mental illness.
The Fragile Threads of Power by V.E. Schwab – I saw this beautiful signed hardcover in the store and treated myself, even if I was actually already listening to the audiobook at the time…
Ravensong by TJ Klune – I read and loved this two years ago in ebook but recently bought myself the new edition hardcover for my shelves.
eBooks
Snowed in for Christmas by Sarah Morgen – I’m currently reading this one. Leave it to me to make big plans to read multiple holiday romances this season and then only starting my first (and probably only) one a few days before Christmas…
Ghosted by Sarah Ready – Will I ever get enough of ghost romances? Probably not! I haven’t started this one yet but I have high hopes.
The Modern Girl’s Guide to Magic by Linsey Hall – I recently finished this one. It was a fun and light cozy romance, but it was just a tad too light for me.
Check & Mate by Ali Hazelwood – I recently finished this one and highly enjoyed it!
Audio Books
Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros – I just finished this like yesterday and I am still not okay.
The Fragile Threads of Power – I read this in November and LOVED it!
Foxglove by Adalyn Grace – I read this sequel to Belladonna in October and highly enjoyed it returning to Signa and Death’s epic romance mystery.
Things We Left Behind by Lucy Score – And I also read this one long-awaited final installment in the Knockemout seriesin October and it was a blast to finally get Sloane and Lucian’s story!
Ghost stories are hit or miss for me, but Ghosted does catch my eye! That cover art is gorgeous. Hope you enjoy all of these, and yay for some new bookshelf additions. Always fun to feature those. 🙂
The cover for Ghosted indeed caught my eye as well! Thanks, Rissi!
I recently finished Check & mate as well and was also pleasantly surprised!

Glad to hear you also enjoyed Check & Mate!
Ravensong sounds good.
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
It is indeed 🙂
I just finished The Fragile Threads of Power. I bet the audiobook production was amazing.
It was an amazing audio, I love the narrators.
Foxglove was one of my more recent purchases this holiday season although it didn’t make it onto my TTT cos… There were many books bought! 😂 But I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it. I also can’t wait to read Threads of Power! I got my Illumicrate edition in November (I think) and it’s gorgeous. 😍
Haha I know, the joy of the holiday season for a book lover 😀 Hope you’ll lvoe Foxglove and Threads of Power!
I read the second book in that Linsey Hall’s series (companion). From your comment it was slightly deeper but still couldn’t quite deliver. Its a shame because they sound so good.
Still really want to try Check & Mate.
I was contemplating whether I should continue that series, but I probably won’t. Indeed a shame because they do sounds so good.
I hope you’ll love Check & Mate!
I loved Foxglove Iron Flame and Check &Mate. The Hurricane Wars disappointed me somehow.
Glad to hear you loved those books, Sophie! I’m still reading The Hurricane Wars, hopefully I’ll have a bit better luck.
Snowed in for Christmas sounds like a good read. I hope you are enjoying it, Lindsey.
I just finished it in time for Christmas! It was definitely an enjoyable read 🙂
I liked ‘I Want to Die but I Want to Eat Tteokbokki,’ which I read recently. I found it to be a refreshingly frank look at depression. 🙂
It was such a refreshing take and format indeed!
Apparently there’s a sequel too.
These all look like fun! I love that you shared 3 different types of books.
Thanks! I do love reading in different formats 🙂
Still reading Iron and Flame and now I’m scared… 😮
Ah feel free to message me when you get to the ending and want to shout/flail/talk about it, because I definitely want to shout/flail/talk about it too haha 😀
An interesting mix of books. I’ve heard of a couple of these. Ravensong is on I think I would enjoy, I’ll add that to my TBR. I hope you enjoy these.
Thanks so much! Hope you’ll love Ravensong, it’s the sequel to Wolfsong and one of my favorites for sure.
Those first two look awesome.
I love that cover for Foxglove. It does remind me of Belladonna.
I do love the covers for both Belladonna and Foxglove a lot!
I keep holding out on Fragile Threads of Power (it’s been a while since I finished the original series). I really should read it one of these days. Glad you liked it!
My TTT 🙂
I definitely loved Fragile Threads of Power, hope you will too!
I still have yet to read TJ Klune. I’m woefully behind, lol. I hope you enjoy reading all of these!
Thanks, I hope you’ll love any TJ Klune book you decide to try!
I hope you enjoy all of these when you get an opportunity to read them.
Thanks so much!
CHECK AND MATE looks really cute. I’ve yet to read anything by Hazelwood. I hope you enjoy all these!
Happy TTT!
