“WWW” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Taking On A World of Words.
Hi everybody, and welcome to a new WWW Wednesday! For this post, we’ll be answering three questions (the 3 Ws):
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
I just finished reading An Offer From A Gentleman by Julia Quinn as audiobook.
I’m getting really excited for the upcoming new season of the Bridgerton TV adaptation and I wanted to prepare by catching up with at least books 3 and 4 in the series. So I did just that with book 3 (Benedict’s book) and well, I had some mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, I love Benedict in the TV show and he was also mostly loveable in the book, I loved the Cinderella retelling aspect and Sophie was a great heroine to root for. But I thought the whole love drama was a bit too repetitive and it even annoyed me a bit near the end. I hope I won’t feel this way when they (eventually) tackle this storyline for the TV show.
I am currently reading House of Flame and Shadow by Sarah J. Maas as physical book.
This is a massive book and I just started, so this may still take a while… Hope I can keep spoiler free until I’m finished. I am loving it so far!
I am currently also reading Romancing Mister Bridgerton by Julia Quinn in audiobook format.
I’m about halfway through and Penelope and Colin for the win!
As usual, I’m a huge mood reader so who knows what I’ll be reading next? Until the moment I pick up a book, not even me knows. But here are a few possibilities:
Yay for Penelope and Collin! I can’t wait for their season to start soon.
I’m getting even more excited for the new season now that I’m listening to the audiobook 🙂
I’m still reading HOFAS but I keep getting arcs I need to read first 😂
HOFAS is so huge, it’ll indeed take a while 🙂
I actually really liked An Offer From a Gentleman, but I’m also looking forward to Colin and Penelope’s story on screen!
I’m definitely looking forward to both story adaptations!
I hope you’ll love HOFAS Lindsey!
Thanks, Sophie!
House of Flame and Shadow!! I hope you enjoy the ride!! 🙂
Thanks so much, I’m definitely loving it so far!
Those Maas books are HUGE. I love that cover for Blood!
They really are so huge! But I do love the covers too:)
A Fate Inked in Blood is my March pick from Book of the Month. I’m really excited to read it. I hope we both love it!
I indeed hope we’ll both love A Fate Inked in Blood! I did hear great reviews so far.
I still haven’t read anything by Sarah J. Maas yet.
I hope you’ll enjoy her books if you decide to give them a try!
I look forward to hearing your thoughts on HOFAS!
I’m ALMOST finished, just a few pages left and I ended up really loving it!
