“WWW” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Taking On A World of Words.
Hi everybody, and welcome to a new WWW Wednesday! For this post, we’ll be answering three questions (the 3 Ws):
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
I just finished reading Business Casual by B.K. Borison as ebook.
I was so happy to be back in Inglewild! I loved Charlie and Nova’s story and felt like they were 2 really interesting characters. Nova was just such a cool character and Charlie is just a teddy bear that needs a hug and is now one of my favorite characters ever. But other than the romance, I just loved being back in this small town and meeting all the characters again. It’s just such a lovely place to escape to – I’m sad it’s the last book set here, but I’m already sure I’ll re-read the series often.
I am currently re-reading The Flatshare by Beth O’ Leary as audiobook.
The Flatshare is one of my favorite books that I read back in 2019 and I thought it was the perfect time for a re-read! I still really love this one. It’s funny and sweet but also quite hard-hitting in some parts as it deals with some heavier topics like gaslighting and abusive relationships. It’s a delicate balance, but it works well and makes for a powerful read.
I am currently reading Quicksilver by Callie Hart in ebook format.
I’ve been seeing this romantasy hyped all over social media for a few weeks now, and I wanted to find my next romantasy obsession, so I thought I’d give this one a try. I’m not too far in so I can’t say much. I do think it’s a little tropey so far, but I am definitely enjoying myself and am eager to keep on reading.
As usual, I’m a huge mood reader so who knows what I’ll be reading next? Until the moment I pick up a book, not even me knows. But here are a few possibilities I’m thinking of:
I’m secretly hoping you’ll pick The Road of Bones next. I want to know your thoughts on it. And I am loving that cover!
I already bought a copy of The Road of Bones for my Kindle, so chances are very likely I’ll read that next 😉
Yay! 😀 I love that you’re rereading THE FLATSHARE. It’s such a fun book.
It definitely held up upon reread, still loved it!
Hooray for rereading! I love revisiting beloved stories and characters.
Rereading is the best indeed! I wish I did more of it 🙂
I’ve got A Novel Love Story on my TBR as well!
Hope we’ll both love it!
I have finished Between Dragons and their Wrath and THe Briar Club this week!
Hope you loved both of them, Sophie!
I really enjoyed The Flatshare. The tv adaptation was horrible.
