Hi everybody and welcome to a new Top Ten Tuesday! Today we’re listing the books on our fall to-read list and I have 6 upcoming releases I’m looking forward to, as well as 4 backlist books I’m hoping to get to. So without further ado, let’s go!
6 Upcoming Releases
The Wraith King by Juliette Cross
Release date: 24 September 2024
I’ve been loving Juliette Cross’s Stay A Spell series a lot recently so I’m definitely excited for her new romantasy release featuring light and dark fae!
Swordcrossed by Freya Marske
Release date: 8 October 2024
This story had me with the beautiful cover and only drew me in more with the fun historical fantasy romance vibes!
The Nightmare Before Kissmass by Sara Raasch
Release date: 8 October 2024
The Prince of Christmas falling for the Prince of Halloween? Sign me up, please!
The Songbird & The Heart of Stone by Carissa Broadbent
Release date: 19 November 2024
Carissa Broadbent’s The Serpent and the Wings of Night duology (books 1 and 2 in the Crowns of Nyaxia series) were some of my favorite reads of 2023. They resparked my love of fantasy romance and I’ve been obsessed with them ever since. So of course I am excited for a new duology, set in the same world. And it features Mische, our favorite sunny vampire, and an exiled necromancer prince? Yes, please!
Under Loch and Key by Lana Ferguson
Release date: 3 December 2024
Well, I’ve never read a Loch Ness shapeshifter monster romance before…
It definitely sounds original and I have faith that Lana Ferguson will make this work!
A Monsoon Rising by Thea Guanzon (The Hurricane Wars #2)
Release date: 10 December 2024
I have to admit I was a bit hesitant and confused about my feelings for book one. But even with mixed feelings, I am still stoked to find out what’s next and I’m hoping the romance and angst will be revved up in book 2.
4 Backlist Books
Well, as you can probably see from my selection this week, I’m in my romantasy era right now. And that means starting some well loved series with City of Gods and Monsters, Daughter of No Worlds and The Witch Collector. And of course, I want to read the last book in a series I already know and love, Wisteria.
I haven’t heard of Lana’s book, but that cover design does make me want to read more about it. It looks cute. 🙂
It does indeed look so cute 🙂
Swordcrossed is next on my reading list this week. I hope we will both love it.
I hope so too!
The Nightmare Before Kissmas looks so fun. I hope you enjoy all these books and have a wonderful week.
Thanks!
The Nightmare Before Kissmas looks so much fun and I’ll probably pick it up during the holidays.
Yay, hope we’ll both love that one!
The Wraith King and Wisteria are on mine too!
I hope we’ll both love those!
The Nightmare Before Kissmas and Under Loch and Key are two I’m really looking forward to also!
They both look like so much fun!
I hope you love all of them.
Thanks!

I mostly have Amish romances on my list so nothing in common. However, I did see Under Loch and Key on NetGalley and that one caught my eye. I look forward to hearing how you like the books!
Thanks!

I really need to read the Belladonna series. My audio hold is taking so long. There’s so many great books on here. I hope you get to all of them and enjoy them!
I LOVED Belladonna, I enjoyed Foxglove and I’m hoping to read Wisteria soon 🙂
I need to jump into Foxglove soon. I think I want to buy Wisteria with the Target sale this week. Then I can just binge the rest of the series, for once. haha
We have 1 in common this week 🙂
