“WWW” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Taking On A World of Words.
Hi everybody, and welcome to a new WWW Wednesday! For this post, we’ll be answering three questions (the 3 Ws):
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
I just finished (re-)reading Mixed Signals by B.K. Borison as ebook.
I had intended to only re-read book one in this series, Lovelight Farms. But then I fell in love with this fictional Christmas tree farm and all the characters all over again and didn’t want to leave just yet, so I just had to re-read books 2 and 3 as well. So book 3, Mixed Signals, was officially my last read of 2024. And yes, this is still one of my favorite contemporary romance series of all time.
I am currently reading Children of Fallen Gods (The War of Lost Hearts #2) by Carissa Broadbent as audiobook.
I’ve read the first book in this series in December and LOVED IT. The audiobooks are included in my Audible membership so of course I dove right into book 2. I’m about halfway in and I have to admit it’s been a bit slow going as I haven’t felt the urge to keep reading like I had in book one. But that may be because I just didn’t listen to audiobooks as much during the Christmas break (as audiobooks are mostly for during my commute). The story is still intriguing and I love the characters so I’m definitely continuing.
I am currently reading The Spellshop by Sarah Beth Durst as ebook.
I wanted the vibe of my first 2025 read to sort of manifest what I wanted the vibe for my 2025 to be… so cozy cottagecore romantasy it is!
Not too far in yet, but it’s everything I expected it to be so far, which is cozy and whimsical.
As usual, I’m a huge mood reader so who knows what I’ll be reading next? Until the moment I pick up a book, not even me knows. But here are a few possibilities I’m thinking of:
So many great books on this list!! I have just put Lights Out on my TBR the other day!! I Hope you enjoy all your reads. 🙂
The Spellshop looks so cozy! I just finished up The Witch Collector and am now reading Gideon the Ninth.
Mixed Signals sounds good. I think I’ll add that to my growling list.
